Yeah you are right Kim.It is really difficult to make a hole on tree trunks.But this is the method that i know but i think if you wet it and wait a bit, it will be more soft and this will help you.And for stones, It is more difficult but you can find some soft kind of stones.It is easy to give a shape to them.Hope you will make it.Waiting for your good news:) Stay blessed!

I tried drilling a hole with a circular drill bit and a I tried using a hammer and chisel and neither worked for me. Is there something else I can try? I really love this idea! Also I have tried these methods on a stone too and it sure didn’t work for me either. Please tell me what else to do?

You can also put desel in and burn the middel away

how did you get the hole in the middle of the tree trunk i want to do that with flowers but i have no idea how to get the hole in the middle
