How To Make A Plastic Bottle Ottoman

DIY Plastic Bottles Ottoman
Is your house full of guests and not enough seats to all of them? You can solve this problem easily with this incredible and cheap idea: Ottomans made with old plastic bottles! Apart from being really useful they can bring a nice and creative decoration to any room of your home and the only things you will need are some simple materials and a bit of time. After this idea you won’t throw plastic bottles on bin anymore! Check out:
Materials:
- Plastic bottles (the quantity will depend on the size of your ottoman)
- Duct Tape
- Foam sheet (thin ones) or a thin pillow
- Fabric (of your choice)
- Hot glue or instant glue
- Scissors
Cut the top of a plastic bottle with the scissors (just above the label). Attach another entire bottle in the previous one and fasten them together using the Duct tape (pictures 1 and 2)
Make as many pieces as necessary to create your ottoman (to make one of the same size as the first picture you will need 16 pieces). You can also choose the shape of it: square or round. After that you can join all the pieces together using the duct tape (picture s 3 and 4).
Now you need fold your ottoman with the foam sheet to make it soft. Use the hot glue or the instant glue to attach the foam to the plastic bottles. Cut a big piece to wrap up the sizes and one exactly the same size for the top. You can also add a thin pillow on the top to make your ottoman more comfortable (picture 5)
Now sew a cover to it using the fabric you choose. Be creative and try to match your new ottomans with the decoration of your house! Your guests will never be on foot anymore! (picture 6)
